Jean Witt is a lifelong explorer with over 24 years in the art and science of human capacity building. She has served as both developer and administrator, specializing in curriculum development, instructional design, and mentoring new teachers. Jean’s leadership is grounded in authenticity, connection, and the power of empathetic engagement. She believes leaders can grow and flourish in any environment, and she approaches each challenge with confidence and creativity.

Throughout her career, Jean has embraced a wide range of roles, including fundraising and development, grant writing, and district-wide instructional leadership. She has successfully guided initiatives that strengthened literacy and social studies instruction and has partnered with state agencies, community organizations, and higher-education institutions. A strong advocate for immersive and experiential learning, she values the role of storytelling and technology in creating meaningful educational experiences.

Now a South Carolina resident (from Rhode Island), Jean has expanded her work to support culturally and linguistically diverse learners and neurodivergent students. Her passion for inclusive education is rooted in her professional experiences across two states, as well as in her personal journey raising and advocating for a neurodivergent child. This work has deepened her compassion, sharpened her understanding of diverse thinkers, and grounded her purpose: fostering growth, resilience, and healing for those she serves.

Jean holds an MAT in Secondary Education from Boston University—where she also pursued postgraduate studies in Curriculum and Instruction—and an M.Ed. in Organizational Management from Endicott College. She brings a strong foundation in instructional design, professional development, financial and human resources management, and systems-level leadership. She is committed to cultivating environments where learning, empathy, and connection thrive—and she is excited to apply her expertise to new contexts.
